I think you make a good point, but I think in this segment competitive pricing is actually a sales advantage.

I 100% agree with you. I want to love Cadillac so much. I do really like the ATS a lot - if it weren't for the fact that my wife and I looking to buy a house in the next year, I'd be looking at an ATS later this year. And that's before I read about these new incentives.

And thank you for designing and supplying high quality components.

Yes he was. If you ever get a chance, read Driving Ambition, it really goes to show the true depth of his genius in developing the F1. The amount of detail and care that went into that car is simply astounding.

That's silly, you can damn near buy or build an entire AR for that money. Although it does look pretty sweet.

Thanks for the knowledge and the clarification. You're absolutely right.

I've never messed with it. I'm not much of a fabricator. I can burn some rod, and turn a lathe, but that's about it. So anything beyond mild steel is really beyond me.

I'm sorry :(

You are correct, it is somewhat denser and it does maintain it's properties better at high temperatures. I misspoke, what I should have said was it maintains its strength better at elevated temperatures, requiring less material, resulting in an overall lighter muffler.

They destroyed both test cars at the end of testing - Edward above had the S70/2 and a Porsche Transaxle, and Albert had a Chevy 454 Big block V8 and McLaren F1 gearbox and rear cradle - they did this so they could simultaneously develop the engine and transmission.

I kept looking at that picture trying to decide which hole to put the key ring through.

One of the most insane is the McLaren F1's muffler. I'll try to recall a bit of Driving Ambition from memory here, but essentially the engineer's calculations showed that they would need a muffler with a capacity of 40 litres to meet noise regulations in all their target markets. The muffler, if made out of

This is awesome. Never got to see anyone transferred like this when I was in the Navy, but it looks pretty badass and now I'm wishing I'd gotten to do it.

features a six-speed sequential racing transmission that goes through a transaxle

What is this I don't even..?

I went to a tech conference about 2 years ago Sikorsky gave a presentation on this program. It's a spectacular platform and brings a lot to the table. What I really like is it offers more speed and higher ceiling than current single rotor copters, some that, as you allude to, would have really benefitted the US in

Hoorah! Those guys are some badass mofos.

Seems to me like Spen belonged to a special breed of bros that you just can't be anymore.

Exactly. You can get a LOADED, I mean every option, Trailhawk Renegade for the same money, and $31k gets you into a Trailhawk Cherokee. Both of which are larger, roomier, and way more capable off-road, and the Renegade, at least, is going to give you at least as good fuel economy.

I feel like this is one of those vehicles that ticks all the right boxes on paper, but falls short in execution. I love my Cruze but in the last two years I have been getting back into camping and hiking and other outdoor activities. There are a few places I like to go up in the Appalachians where I don't really
