Haha, thats a good plan. I am just finishing up my sophomore year, so I have a little while to go. I still have my CBR1000RR as my dumb toy. I may end up keeping the Slo-balt for commuting duty as I am planning to stay in the D.C. area (future wife has a great job here) and maybe doing something like a Lo-Cost or

I have a bit of experiences with Lexus cars and I would have to say that most of the sentiments I see on here are spot on.

Exactly, I think the throws are a good length now, but I wish they could move the whole thing up a few inches. I have considered going with a short throw and a longer shaft exactly as you said, but I really don't want to sink any more money in the car. I just want to get thru college with it, then I can get

Crank windows don't bother me either. Power locks and especially cruise would be nice from time to time though. I was just surprised that in this day and age that kind of stuff isn't standard.

My sister has an 06 RSX Type S and my old roommate had an 08 Civic. Both have terrible visibility out the front. I bumped the wall in a parking garage in my sisters car once (no damage mind you), I didn't hear the end of it for weeks.

I bought my Slobalt back when I was in the Navy and didn't have a lot of money (I had wasted it all on bikes, booze and broads). It was the absolute cheapest model they had, only option was floor mats, and after discounts I got it for $11,000 brand new. I beat this thing up and down the highway every day, I've put

"Porsche can put the line here and decide to (try) to stay under it while Lotus wanders off like a nursing home patient. "

Ok, so my initial response was Miata. But since that was taken, the only other thing I could think of was this. My girlfriend got one from her mother, who got tired of it and wanted something new, only to buy an identical RX a few years newer.

Needs moar wing.

Yeah, noticed that after I posted, and then I had to get to class. I was, uh, distracted by the architecture. Yeah, thats it, the architecture.

I second that.

I am by no means hip to the Scion culture, but the owners I know are: A) girls with automatic tC's who don't know a dipstick from a donut B) old people with xB's who go to flea markets because they are actually a good value in terms of space per dollar

This weekend I went to the junkyard with my dad to help him pull some parts for his 98 GMC cargo van. Two of the things he wanted were a new drivers seat and a new interior door panel because his were worn out. Much to our chagrin all the vans in the yard had the same door panels and the same seats, with the same

Damn, beat me to it...

What's up with all the Sonic hate on here?

You must have gone to the wrong school. Where I'm at there are some absolutely fine girls in engineering. Granted the ratio still anywhere from 15:1 to 60:1 depending on classes, but its about quality, not quantity.
