This. I do not understand why the guns cannot be selectively nerfed as between PvE and PvP.

What they need to do is not balance the PVE and PVP stuff as the same “Sandbox” Just because a weapon is broken in PVP doesn’t mean you need to fuck it up in PVE. There has to be a way to tell the game what mode your in and have it affect the gun only in a specific mode. That or they need to make it like Halo where…
It’s almost as if Bungie should tweak all weapons to work independently between PvE and PvP...
Man this podcast bums me out. I just don’t really have the means to consume a podcast, but I always click these links thinking; “oh man this sounds like an interesting article!” Only to find out that nope; can’t read it, it’s a podcast.
Jason, I’ve been reading your book, and it’s clear that a big part of game development involves deception. I’m sure developers consider it a necessary evil since they are constantly trying to get funding for their current and future projects, but they put no small amount of effort into spectacular (but unrealistic)…

Was talking about the first game. The guy who made the post didn’t specify Destiny 2. He said Destiny. So that means Destiny 1.
You’ll get this content way sooner, like december or something. Besides, this time the exclusives aren’t that big of a deal. The strike map may be the only really good one.
I’ll be playing on PS4, sadly enough. :)
Yes, but the original post never mentioned Destiny 2, last I checked.
Haha, well then I have NO idea then! Haven’t played the D2 yet... getting it tommorrow, so let’s see if it’s any good. But what I said about D1, is pretty much how it is.
It traced its finger around the groin plate.
Yeah, dunno if he meant 2nd or 1st. But I assumed he meant the 1st, because it seems like he tried it at some point and wonders if the BETA was like that...
Yes I was talking about the D2 beta from a week ago. I’m trying to figure out what I will do if all my friends wind up getting this game.
Haha.
It’s not, Microsoft makes over $700 million with it’s online store and has over 70 million users...that’s not even remotely “niche”.
1) Visual Novel - a form of game that seems to have come from Japan, where you can make choices that determine your/the MC’s fate. Popular examples are Clannad, Shuffle!, and Katawa Shoujo.
VN = visual novel
All weird Japanese shit.
You’re right, that IS more accurate.
