I’m really hoping that most Americans are as disgusted as I am by the actions of hard-red states. They’re not even trying to hide the fact they’re “Christian” fascists any longer.

Here’s a an idea, perhaps Hollywood should come up with something new and novel instead of pursuing the old and tired?

Indiscriminately popping off multiple rounds on a freeway is standing your ground? Rrrrriiiiight. Red states that are gutting gun regulations are going to be seeing more and more of this nonsense in the future, and it’s not going to end well.

I absolutely adored this movie when I was in art school, lost count how many times I’ve seen it. Upon revisiting it a few years ago, I noticed how sterile the music mix is... it sounds like a studio recording and not live at all. Then I discovered that they overdubbed the shit out of the original live soundtrack.…

We used to live one block off of Division in Wicker Park. St. Patty’s was a day to stay inside and batten down the hatches. We always had drunk fools pissing and puking on the sidewalks. Amateur hour and not at all appealing.

Pretty much the conclusion I reached watching the trailer.

It’s light, breezy, fun and incredibly entertaining. I especially enjoyed that the majority of the episodes are stand alone and not being a slave to some convoluted season long arch.

For the life of me, I don’t understand the accolades for Top Gun. It was fine for a brainless action film, but best picture? Really? I’m just glad I didn’t pay to see it.

I’m more interested why people buy cars the color of Band-Aids. Every time I’m out running errands I always notice at least one car that has that odd beige tone to it. 

Well at least the plot sounds like a Luther plot. Crazy bad guy killing people via convoluted means. 

Here’s hoping the rest of the entertainment industry notices that both Ted Lasso and Barry have taken the high road and tapped out before the shows turned into self-parody. 

Judging by my Fox News watching father-in-law, Fox is fully backing DeSantis. My father-in-law now keeps spouting off about how smart and wonderful he is. “Did you know he went to Yale?” “He was a Navy officer!”
