I can’t believe there are still dry counties in 2023. Seems like there’s a possible separation of church and state issue there. How backwards.

It’s absolutely disgusting that this is going to be THE platform for the GOP in 2024. The “Let’s further marginalize an already marginalized group.” platform. Hopefully the youth vote shows up like they did for the mid-terms. 

It’s a shame. Years and years ago they had such better quality than other fast food burgers, and I loved the retro vibe.

I’m absolutely disgusted by Republicans. All they’re good for is further marginalizing already marginalized people, concoct conspiracies, and manufacture outrage and petty grievances. They have no platform except for appealing to their ignorant, lunatic fringe base.

I mean I’m not surprised how dire it sounds, but a part of me was hoping it’d be half decent due to the cast. Then again, no matter how strong a cast, if the writing sucks so will the movie.

My wife watches this show for some inexplicable reason. I find it so insufferable that I have to leave the room. Excruciatingly awful.

Got around to watching the Finland and Tokyo episodes. It’s beautifully filmed and the locations are lovely. I have to grudgingly agree with the writer, Levy’s constant put-upon schtick gets really old... and I’ve loved Levy since his SCTV days. I won’t bother with the rest of the episodes.

We had a bit of a thaw up here in Minnesota the past few weeks, but it’s now currently 5 degrees with 15" of fresh snow on the ground.

I’m starting to wonder if Nick Nolte and Tom Waits are the same person. BTW, seeing his hand tremors throughout the episode was heartbreaking.

Let’s tally up the latest Republican stunts... empty gestures like this example, marginalizing trans kids, banning books, denying science, manufacturing outrange and having petty grievances. It’s almost as if they have no real platform on anything... hey, waitaminute!

The second someone calls something “socialist” I tune out. It’s amusing that a swath of the populace enjoys throwing a word around that they can’t define.
