Just got around to watching the first episode last night. It exceeded my expectations.

I’m sure the GOP really thought they owned with libs with this one. Sadly it’s all they really care about, certainly not policy issues.

Feel free to pile on, but I really disliked The Bear. To me, the tone, the directorial style, the sometimes utterly ridiculous situations reminded me of a show from the 90s. Trying oh, so hard to be edgy. This would’ve been more relevant if it came out during the celebrity chef explosion period from that era.

That makes him even more disgusting.

To anyone who enjoys Christmas movies but hasn’t seen Klaus, please do. Everything about it is wonderful. From the writing, to the amazing animation, to the voice acting.

Moving from Chicago to Minneapolis was a rude awakening regarding procurement of liquor. Minnesota has some pretty byzantine liquor laws. The Democrats now have full control of the state, so supposedly legal recreational weed will be happening... I hate to see what the state comes up with regulating that.

Once you get outside of Denver or any of the mountain towns, the rest of the state is full of redneck ranchers.

As someone who’s been to Hobart, Indiana... Cane’s is better off opening a restaurant elsewhere!

I’ll add that if you have a boiler/radiator system, get it flushed out. Our latest house has such a system and we were used to forced air. Our first winter it did an okay job, but not great. In between winters we had it serviced and flushed. OMG the difference was night and day. 

We tried both Hello Fresh and Blue Apron for a few months each. I’ll admit we did have several really excellent and interesting meals thanks to the services, but those were few and far between. The quality of both the proteins and produce could be hit or miss. My biggest complaint was not being in the mood for any of…
