Yikes those are all great observations, and I feel exactly the same way towards Fiona.

I thought that as well for a second, but Etta has dementia and it's only going to get worse, she has to be in a facility that can provide around the clock care. It’s sad but true. Would be nice to see her pop up in a few episodes next year with Fiona visiting her or taking her on outings, but I suspect last night was…
I don't think Monica ever really loved anyone, least of all Frank. Whatever you think of Mickey, the love between Ian and Mickey was real. It wasn't my favorite story, but I have to acknowledge that a huge segment of the Shameless fan base is really sad today.
I'm a bit disappointed that both of Fiona's business deals have come about as a
direct or indirect result of random hook ups. The first guy inspired her to be
an owner the second guy offered to sell her the building. I wish the writers
would stop fixating on her sexuality as the defining aspect of who she is.
True, that's why I was so glad to see her insist on a full inspection of the building. She learned a lot from her experience with the laundry.
Glad Fiona is sticking with the entrepreneurship and totally team Rossum on the pay front.
The relationship you have with your Mom is totally irrelevant to Rossum's business relationship with Showtime and Warner Brothers TV.
Hope Rossum gets exactly what she wants, she's the driving force on the show, deserves to be the highest paid cast member.
But if Fiona hires her to work at her next business venture, that would be an option.
Best rated episode of the year (so far) with 1 603 000 viewers, third week in a row the shows rating are up and it was the 6th highest rated show on cable for the night, up against the season finale of Westworld, The Walking Dead and football…pretty great performance!!!
That would be awesome.
I would LOVE it if that happened. I don't want Fiona to give up and settle for being the poorly paid manager of a diner. The one thing she has to do though, is hire Sierra to work at whatever her new business is. Ruby Modine is a fantastic addition to the show.
Ratings for this episode just came out, the numbers are 1 558 000 vs. the previous
weeks 1 403 000. Nice pop, seasons highest numbers to date and back in the top
ten for the night on cable.
I've said this before, no Fiona no show, but I think the show could carry on with a loss of one or two members of the Gallagher family. Not saying that's what I want to happen, but I have this sneaking suspicion that one of the Gallagher brothers won't be back for Season 8.
I think the show will be renewed (as long as Rossum signs on), but I don't think everyone will be coming back. I think the introduction of the diner and Fiona's business, as well as strong characters like Sierra, has refreshed the show and the focus moving forward will revolve around life outside of the Gallagher…
No, it's not, but neither sides bad behavior should be excused. This is just a TV show, a very good TV show in my opinion, but still just a TV show.
Yup!
I don't think the end is "clearly approaching," I think the show is getting it's mojo back and the ratings are still strong.
Some (not all) of the Gallavich fans have been pretty rude to the writers, calling them idiots and saying the writers "purposely" ruined the show, which is both false (the show is still great) and ridiculous (why would they want to ruin the enterprise that pays their salary).
I've loathed her since the episode a few seasons ago, when she told Fiona she should work as a prostitute.
