Emmy makes as much and likely more than Macy now. Emmy and Macy have been "billed" the same since Season two.

People keep acting like Noel was fired, he wasn't, he wanted to leave.
Nope, you're so wrong. Now YOU shut up.
Wow, that really could have been the series finale if they had wanted it to be, so glad it isn't.
I know, it doesn't seem fair, since most shows don't run 7 years. They often increase salaries voluntarily after a few years, but all the power is in the producers hands, in the end they can just say “take it or leave it, you're still under contract.”
I hope at least three, if not more.
Rossum all the way.
She was locked into the industy standard 7 year contract, she wasn't in a position to bargain until this year, when the 7 year deal expired.
Etta would have run the business into the ground, (dementia doesn't go away, it just gets worse) so she would have lost out on Fiona's $80 000. Selling to Fiona was the best possible thing that could have happened to her.
The show is one of the best (if not the best) dramedy on television, you're really missing out. Most of it is on NETFLIX, still time to check out what you’re missing.
This is GREAT news, really happy for her, she deserves to the the highest paid cast member, and really happy for the Shameless fans, LOVE this show. Season 7 has been a return to form, best season since Season 4.
I'd love to see her one last time and know that she's doing ok in her new home.
Some assisted living facilities allow and even encourage residents to bring their pets. Makes the transition easier.
She had severe mental problems as well, I think they gave it a name a few seasons ago, but can't remember.
It's one of the highest rated dramas on premium cable.
Why don't you just stop watching, there is no law that says you have to watch a show that ticks you off so much. But lots of people love the show and we'd like it to continue.
Well said, what a jerk, clearly doesn't watch the show or know what he's talking about.
I think that would anger the audience as much as the “Fiona
and Jimmy/Steve” as well as “Ian/Mickey” break ups combined, people would be so angry. She definitely has to face hardships and adversity in her business career, but she must be allowed to succeed.
When Fiona dropped Etta off at the assisted living facility and started to walk down the hall to leave, the audience see’s Etta framed by the door to her room with a look of "what's happening" on her face, her image then goes fuzzy, as the camera focuses on Fiona's face as she struggles to not burst into tears…that…
I feel the same way about what the writers did to Fiona and Jimmy/Steve.
Jimmy/Steve was not the creep the writers made him out to be, he loved Fiona and they could have been good for each other. I hated how they made him out to be the "bad guy" in the end, and made their relationship something negative.
