Desert? Thunderhill is in the Sacramento Valley, although admittedly it looks pretty barren at the end of summer, it is one of the most productive food  growing regions on earth!

I don’t want to get technical because you are ignoring the underlying tie between the cars. They are both niche vehicles for enthusiasts that are looking for something more practical than a sports car but more fun than regular car. Again, all your “technical” arguments don’t change the type of fruit. 

Which makes a good case for getting something with 4 doors for now and saving the 2 door until you are sure you are done popping them out :) 

Honestly it drove fine, it just didn’t thrill me. I think the problem is, we were coming from a C7 Corvette, and stock vs stock, the SS is just a heavier, less powerful, less exciting Corvette (with the extra seats we needed for a baby)

This might be better than my suggestions of a Golf R + a used Corvette. Then again, I was underwhelmed with my test drive of the SS which is why I got a Golf R...Hmmm

These recommendations are all silly. The right answer is definitely a Golf R and a used Corvette on the side. Thank me later. 

Yeah, if you don’t mind climbing into the backseat to put a babyseat in. If you wanna get technical, if there is no front passenger seat, you could put the baby in the front seat of the corvette. Just saying...
