What you are saying makes sense, except the part about pickup trucks not being made to cruise on the highway, that is most of what they do in the US. I also feel like pickup drivers are the people lease likely to give up their gas/diesel: See rolling coal, pickup drivers blocking Tesla charging stations, etc.

Skip the car-seat. It seems important until you get on the plane and realize that it’s just easier to hold them or let them sit and look out the window. I wouldn’t wanna be strapped into a carseat for 15 hours, and there is for sure no where to put it after takeoff.

This all day, I am only 6' and I have trouble fitting in a lot of cars due to torso height, I can imagine the same is true if you are all legs too, especially when it comes to rear passenger foot room. This is one of those cases where you really do just have to go test drive cars and see for yourself.

I am not sure what issue you are taking with his statement. He is saying it’s a good reminder that millennials DO like cars.

He is literally saying he is sick and tired of hearing about how millenials don’t like cars, and this is the counter-point.
