Well crap, I don’t read a lot of books, and his was one of the few that really made me enjoy reading.

The only time I had issues with the traction control not being able to keep up, was being stupid in standing water... Sometimes it was a step behind, but it was able to correct before catastrophe. I mean if you punched it in the wet, it would give you a little wiggle before the flashing traction control light let you

Yeah, certainly plenty of guys out there who get to drive sports cars on their commutes. My commute is done on foot. :)

I disagree. I never ever felt that way about the Corvette. It always felt very planted, and had plenty of traction. Sure, you could light the tires by flooring it in lower gears but you could also just drive it like any other car.

Hey Biff,

Alex is 27 years old, he has never seriously considered owning a Corvette in the past, it was never his dream car. The C7 debuts, he loves everything about it, he convinces his awesome wife that they should get one as their only car. Alex and his wife love the car, they drive it everywhere that they don’t walk (they

Yep, all of this!

Exactly, I don’t understand why people have such a hard time understanding this... All these old guys driving them, have literally been wanting one for 20+ years but were waiting for their kids to leave the house before the could pull the trigger.

I was lucky enough to have a c7 in my late 20s before my son was born

Yeah, but the F-type has a laughably small boot. Good luck getting your Xmas tree home in that thing!

Nice! In America we get NOTHING! I mean I guess we get some cool stuff but still, where are my diesel stick shift offroaders?!?

but most of our highways don’t have proper names... or if they do most people don’t know them

But the number is the name in this situation...

I never understood why people fixated on this. It’s pretty simple to understand why we/they do it. When you have dozens of freeways it just sounds more natural. When you have 2 freeways in your town, it sounds dumb.

We drove the whole country! Super pretty. Definitely get a car next time, even though they are kinda pricey. Even though we drove hundreds of KM a day, it wasn’t that bad, because driving in Iceland is kinda just like sitting a chair looking at scenery and stopping to check out waterfalls or steamvents or whatever.

Sorry, I am still using it. I can share some more Iceland pics though if that helps.

We Duster’d in Iceland!

It didn’t feel like an appropriation to me. He used to word to describe how Adam Rippon is different from other out celebrities, namely that he is “flamboyant”, not trying to blend in as straight. He is the type of person who would have been described as such, not long ago. He made a strong point by using the word,

You may also be able to access them for free through your local library online.

My guess is that in these situations, people lightly apply the brakes, like they would if their car wasn’t accelerating, see that the brakes are not stopping the car as they would normally, and assume that they are doing nothing instead of doing the logically thing and pressing them to the floor.
