Hahaha, true true. The worst experience are the stations with video advertisements, I swear they slow down the pumps at those stations so you are forced to endure their LOUD ads for longer...

Hes talking about currency conversion fees. Basically you use your card in another country and they convert your money to local currency for you. There are some cards who don’t have them, that are geared towards travelers.

Yeah, it sucks, but the reality is that if you didn’t make people prepay for gas here, some people wouldn’t pay...not a lot, but enough to make it the norm I guess.

I mean...you could pay for the gas in $1 bills... Also ins’t gas in America by far cheaper than most other places, I dunno if I would be complaining about a 2.9% fee on your credit card. When I traveled Europe I paid the fee and a huge amount more for gas than I do at home...

Yep, I haven’t used cash to pay for gas in years. I hate going inside.

It’s not, 95% of it is just putting your card in the machine and filling up.

I expected as much, feel free, today has already broken me as well (but really I can’t blame today entirely, it’s trump, it’s the holidays, yesterday was my son’s first birthday, so it’s a lot of things) but middle fingers for everyone is fine by me!

But engines are fed a measured amount of gasoline, not submerged in it. If the intake air was full of gasoline vapors I can see how that would easily overwhelm the valves.

Right, but either way, pouring any gasoline on/near the engine instead of into a sealed tank is a recipe for disaster...

No, I think it was definitely pouring the highly explosive gasoline down the intake...which leads directly to the combustion chamber, where ignition is taking place.
