Bummer, what does excite you? I have really broadened my horizons since buying the Corvette. Whats on your "radar" Tom?

No commercial has made me want to buy a car more.

This car will haunt me in my dreams (and my shorts)...

Have you checked them out in person? I was kinda meh too but I was awstruck by how much better they look inside and out when I saw them at the car show. Very striking in person.

It does look a little different than the 2015 Mustang but I was very impressed with the interior of that car and I am sure this will be similar.

People at your college have cars! WOW.

Exactly, the last drive I took in my 2nd S2000 before I sold it was just hooning it around downtown, it felt so amazing and it reminded my exactly why I was going to end up buying another one (and I did).

Okay good, a lot of people get weird about the C7, especially my friends from the S2000 community. As in, they don't even want to ride/drive it. I really can't figure it out, its my first American car (and a lot of S2000 owners are diehard Japanese/Honda fans), but I think people are worried the torque (3x as much as

I did just that. The Corvette is a much more pratical car than the S2000. I bought another S2000 though, hard to stay away, can we still be friends?

I replaced an S2000 with a Corvette. A c7 though. I really don't know what the conclusion of this video was. The S2000 is a very good car (I have had 3 now, I should know) and I don't really see the point of dogging on it at this point, seeing as how it has been out of production for over 5 years now. Nothing like it

I did.

There is no need to watch this, its the F1 even if the film says otherwise, it just is. The Enzo is ugly and the F1 has 3 seats with the driver in the middle, it wins on that fact alone.

When I said "regular people" I was including the rich. I think interest in this topic is largely limited to automotive journalists who actually want/get to drive these cars hard. Maybe a few Lambo enthusiasts will be sad to know lambo has lost its way? Either way, its a pretty small group. I was hoping a Jalopnik

This doesn't really effect regular people in any tangible way. I have never driven a Ferrari or a Lamborghini so as long as they continue to be fun to look at and awesome sounding, they are succeeding at mission one.

True, but no reason not to run with the thread about it being a Z4/Supra when speculating about price. My hope is that it that they can pull of a price/performance bargain no matter what it ends up being, but considering BMW is involved I have a hard time believing that it will be a good deal...

As mentioned, the Z4 starts at 50k. If this is to be a Z4 replacement why would it be any different?

but but....SLK sounds cool, SLC is a well known city abbreviation in the US...

Its exactly true and part of the reason I bought a Corvette now. Someday they will be some hybrid affair (see LaFerrari, see 918, see i8, see NSX, see P1). There is hope though, considering the 6.2 liter LT1 powering the C7 manages to get 30mpg highway without resorting to turbochargers or hybrid systems (just lessor

It sounds like your family has a working relationship with this dealer, and they have a reasonable expectation that they would get the sale of this new mustang when you are ready to buy. I would have no reservation of going into this dealer and asking for a test drive and just let them know that it is something you
