Except the Corvette Stingray out-handles the current Viper according to multiple sources so I think you are pulling stuff out of your butt. How could we know if the unreleased Z06 performance is better or worse than the viper???

$80k American big displacement rwd 2-seater with 650hp vs $100k American big displacement rwd 2-seater with 645hp. These cars are as close of competitors as possible, the fact that the Viper is overpriced changes nothing along with your personal preference.

Its not a competitor with the base corvette but it absolutely is a competitor with the Z06. A competition that it is sure to lose. How can you not see that?

I got two tanks of 32 mpg in my manual C7 (17/29 mpg rated) on the way from Yellowstone to Sacramento. Its definitely capable of 30 mpg on the highway.

the 100.00 thing is a common limit on gas when you are using a credit card. You might not be getting a full tank.

Going 55-60 on the highway is the worst. I recently slowed down to 75-80 for highway trips and it feels like I am standing still.

no doubt. The LE I had with the bilsteins was ridiculous on rough pavement. Never been in an NC but I have no doubt that it is the more refined car. Can anyone say 65 mph shimmy (on the NA)

Agree, my wife only notices exotic cars when I point them out, and even then, shes like "what, where?" She made me happy by telling me she saw another C7 on the road the other day though.
