No. Way. Man. That’s humbling.

Judging by that leaked audio to his crew, he does!
As someone who’s missed a few big releases recent either because theatres have been closed or at least just most-certainly-not-safe-enough-to-risk-for-a-movie, that seems wise. Maybe things will be clear by September (and I sure do hope they will be), but you don’t want to be missing out on money because people can’t…
Between this franchise and Top Gun, there’s so many delayed Tom Cruise movies. He must REALLY hate the pandemic now.
Paramount has an incredibly thin quiver of bankable IPs right now after driving Transformers and Star Trek (the movies) into diminishing returns ground, so they NEED these movies to hit. This feels like hedging their bets to get a much better, hopefully less variant-raging schedule window
We're at the point where Ethan just calls that stuff a "goober"
I wanna see Jon Voight cling to a bullet train for real, dammit!
Sometimes a long delay can help a movie or movies in this case.
They’re not in the can. 7 was, they finished filming in September, but I think 8 only started filming in November.
Tom Cruise is now a year older than Jon Voight was in the first movie.
Something something compromised IMF floppy disc, CD rom, USB stick (my God the tech advancements from 1996 to today is something), something something compromised IMF agent revealed as mastermind.
I can take solace that at least the movies are in the can so release dates can still change. But what I would like is that they make 9 and 10 right now so it can be released in 2025 and 2026 or shelved till later.
Look, they’re not brilliant, and normally these are the kinds of pointless blockbusters I’d be happy to crap all over, but dammit, they are SO watchable.
Regarding “Top Gun 2", to quote Deadpool, it seems like that movie should have come out already.
In it, he rides a motorcycle off a cliff, free falls, and then pulls a parachute and lands safely at the bottom. The actor and his team trained for months to pull it off and it was the first thing shot for the movie. But, obviously, not the last.
The last ones was the best in the series. They are the opposite of the FF movies (they get better with each release).
Me. Fallout was fuckin’ awesome.
Hopefully she isn’t doing her stupid Sessions voice
The problem with a Tiger King movie is that the wacky tiger people story plays like a comedy but when you peel back half a layer all the stories are fucking bleak and none of the characters make you want to root for them.
Kyle MacLachlan really needs a better agent.
