This right here is (one of a few reasons) why I have no desire to have biological children. 

Agreed. My mom believes I'm a reincarnation of her mom, who died before I was born. But that's based on personality traits, not what other people have said to her. 

I had a family of groundhogs - mom and two babies - take up residence in my backyard last spring. They were fun to watch. The last few months, a rare red squirrel has been hanging around, raiding the bird feeder. Lots of rabbits and chipmunks as well. It's like a nature documentary outside my window.

I’m also vegetarian and I agree. I have no expectation that my veggie burgers are cooked on a separate grill. And honestly, it's not something that bothers me. 

The pressure cooker in my kitchen is for the exclusive use of my mom when she visits. I've always been afraid of those things.
