For a younger person, “with child” might be as a result of rape by a staff member while she’s in a coma. Is that considered one of God’s mysterious ways?

Canada has Catholic hospitals that are funded as public hospitals, and I believe that they're allowed to refuse to perform abortions and medically assisted deaths. Not sure how many of these are the *only* option available in a particular location, though. 

Same thing in Canada. I found this story particularly disturbing: this hospital wouldn’t even allow assessments for assisted death on site, so terminally ill patients would have to be transferred to another site.

Same thing as with The Sixth Sense. As soon as they added, "You'll never guess the twist ending" to the trailers, I guessed it.

When I was there, I heard a lot about how the native bird life is threatened by introduced species. So I was shocked to learn that the PM let her cat outdoors to roam, where it could potentially kill said birds (it eventually got hit by car, which is another reason not to let them roam, but that’s another issue).

That is the worst part of winter for me . I can deal with the cold and snow, but walking on ice? Nope. I actually bought these boots with pop-out ice grips for last winter but still have to be careful.

Same thing in Ottawa. I just hope that we don’t have a 7-month winter like the last one. I basically just leave my house for work and hibernate the rest of the time. 

My birthday sometimes falls on American Thanksgiving, but I'm Canadian, so that doesn't help.

Seriously? Some people need glasses to see. I can’t function without them. And why does it only apply to women? It’s clearly a discriminatory policy.
