I did not enjoy XIII at all, however, I found XIII-2 to be extremely enjoyable, I put about 80 hours into it. So I'm looking forward to LR.

Hah. I f***ing hated FFXIII, but I found XIII-2 to be quite enjoyable and fun, gameplay wise (still hated the dialogue and characters). I'm sliiightly looking forward to Lightning Returns because I found XIII-2 a lot of fun to play.

I used to want to code games when I was a kid. Little did I know this is what it would be like. Much props to people who 'get' this.

I can see how the game can be intimidating at first, but if my 13 year old ass figured it out and had an absolute blast with it when it first came out, I'm sure anyone else can figure it out.

Sometimes I just wish I could replay Vagrant Story for the story, in some sort of dumbed down mode where stats and weapons didn't matter as much. Though on the other hand, I also found it incredibly gratifying when I would build up the perfect weapons against different enemy types and just destroy bosses. I freakin'…

Well, I was partially joking, but partially wasn't. You can walk around in the game, but it's extremely limited in what you can do, and you're essentially clicking on objects to interact with them - the rest of the game is watching it play out.

I agree, Mass Effect 3 was pretty damn great all the way through, and I didn't even hate the ending either.
