“See how I threw the suspicion off you there?”
“See how I threw the suspicion off you there?”
This was an A episode for me. I am still a little giddy hours later. When Laszlo and Simon said New York City I couldn’t contain myself. Also, I am not sure Nandor has fully put together that Guillermo is a vampire hunter. He seems to make totally astute comments without knowing how astute they are.
So far, this episode is second to only the Disco Vampire episode as my favorite. Last episode being third.
Nick Kroll using the damn ZUNE killed me.
The timing of that joke was perfect too. Colin Robinson slips in the word “troll” right as he’s stepping into the alley and that’s when you realize it’s going to be an actual troll. Draining the troll with bridge trivia was also pretty great.
I let out an audible “yes!” when Simon the Devious showed back up. The show just keeps getting better and better. Another A level episode in my grade book
Of course Colin is a shitposter, much like him being into dolls this makes perfect sense. Also I was expecting the counter troll to be another energy vampire but it being an actual Troll makes sense.
“Hello?! Excuse me... we mean you no harm, we are just walking in your shit pipe.”
Elvis & a Freddie Mercury reference in one episode. I'm happy.💙
Honestly, I look at what you wrote, and cringed. Why would I want to work 14 hour days, 6 days a week, and have last taken a “honest fly anywhere vacation,” 3 years ago?
In the immortal words of Don Draper, ‘that’s what the money’s for!’.
I have to agree about Silvio Orlando. He’s tremendous and with each episode feels more like the beating heart of the season, while Brannox and Sofia complete the trifecta (I hope we get lots of Lenny in the last 3, though). I still don’t really know what the core theme of this season will end up being, but I’ve been…
Agreed. Great line, great episode.
John Bradley was far and away the acting standout for this episode. Terrific work from him in the scene with Daenerys and Jorah.
I like Talla better than Tharl.
And here I thought cranberries floated.
That’s what kills me about people attempting to compare Roseanne’s firing to James Gunn.
My understanding was that Gunn had explicitly apologized for these tweets in 2012, but I believe in adhering to actual facts - not shading them. It does seem like he’s apologizing for his online offensiveness, disowning it, and growing past it. But he doesn’t cite his tweets. Lacking any offensive statements after…
This is from the Huffington Post 11/30/2012:
And that is why Disney’s position here is complete BS. The tweets were shitty and deplorable but they knew.... he apologized, he’s shown growth, understanding, and his actions have been that of a good person since. Disney had no problem with him making movies, until these morons pointed it out in some form of…
