I'm alarmed that he speaks so informally with his taco purveyors. Maybe he'd have better luck with "usted".

Never said it made him better. He might have made different choices if Pat was facing combat though. Who knows?

Didn't the Roman "cursus honorum" require military service? At least all of their senators had served (and all their sons too, I guess, since they had to join the military if they wanted to get anywhere). Interesting thought.

I did wonder what brought Leland and Sarah together in the first place? Was BOB attracted to her abilities? Did he see her as a threat and want her close and under his control? What made Sarah want to marry Leland is BOB was always lurking inside of him?

Well the question of what is art is, to my mind, unanswerable or at least very hard to pin down. And I'm not sure why you think you can't call yourself an artist. Because some other artists would disagree with you? Why would that matter when your whole point is that there is no unified theory of art? I certainly

I don't know. Summer was with Morty in wanting to continue therapy. That suggests that she's as aware as he is that there's something bad that could be better.

See I think I put Fly out of my mind once the radio stopped playing it every ten minutes. So being reminded brought back all my visceral dislike as if it were yesterday.

God. Fly. I hate that song so much.

Isn't DC also putting out a streaming service with Young Justice as one if its draws? So many streaming services.

Also, what about their shows like Gravity Falls? It would be so great to have access to that too.

A four?

Raphael was engaged to a woman he didn't love (a common practice back then), but he never married her. He did, however, leave significant money to his lover in his will, so he hardly sold her out. And, again, I'm not understanding how you could possibly know whether an artist was expressing individualism or not

What does objectivity look like in tv criticism? Is Twin Peaks: The Return "objectively" better than Mr. Roger's Neighborhood?

I mean what about Raphael? Is the School of Athens not "art"? Or Oscar Wilde? Or even Caravaggio, who created exquisite art as an apology to his patron? And what does "final cut" mean in a project like a movie or television show (or musical or play or opera) that is the work of numerous different people? By the

You make an excellent point which shows why we should really treasure Twin Peaks: The Return - love it or loath it, it is rare that we'll ever get to see an artist let loose to this degree on movies and television. The cost is ordinarily too high. There are so many moments watching this series where I'm just so

I'm struggling to see the cause and effect here. If I follow your reasoning, the AV Club posts a lot of anti-Trump content because it's clickbait and generates a lot of traffic, but, because of that, people stop clicking because they, what? Are sad that sometimes there's an anti-Trump newswire?

Could you tell me how making articles about Trump could blow up in the AV Club's face?

I'm not sure I'm understanding the distinction between "art" and a "movie". A movie is a form of art. And I'm fairly certain plenty of film criticism is directed towards what an artist is saying and even how it relates to their life. Obviously, not always, as not all art is a personal expression of the inner self.

I agree Jerry fulfilled that role. I wonder though whether the kids' roles will be changing since they seem to be wising up.

Not surprising. If I sent an unauthorized email using my office account denouncing company policy to everyone, I'd at least end up suspended.
