Same thing with buttermilk, which I only use for baking. Even after it’s open it will last for 6 to 9 months.
Agree...also the word “munch” and the ubiquitous use of the term “throw” by all cooks on TV; as in, throw it in the oven. Drives me insane. Also I hate the “clean food” idea from Panera. It might be clean but it’s so full of salt that I can’t possible eat there. While not a word, the Pioneer Woman should be arrested…
I only wish we had more butcher shops and greengrocers(other than Whole Foods). I do go to Lowes for detergent, etc. as it is usually cheaper, or Costco where it is usually cheaper.
It freezes extremely well and it’s always an alternative to some other meal when you don’t really feel like making a more complicated one.
Once you try sorrel soup, you’ll never go back. Really! Try it. Martha Stewart has a great recipe.
