I didn’t come up with this one, but I sure as heck printed a bunch to hang up near his office. This would surely annoy a lot of GOP lawmakers.

Nevertheless, she persisted!!!

wow i’m suddenly so into bravo

I’m still with her.

From the scorn they offer the “educated elite” I am tempted to say it’s pride in stupidity.

I’d be updating my resume if I had to work with people that were this stupid. Just not worth it.

Pre-November 2016, I would have been optimistic that the unequivocal NO our democratic *and* republican citizenry has voiced in response to DeVos’s nomination, AND politicians’ vows to do everything in their power to stop her, would actually DO something...

Wear your pussyhat every day. Don’t say a word. Just wear it.

the protesting does seem to bother them so much (gives me more motivation to keep doing it)

I know exactly the kind of person you’re talking about. People who only listen to Fox News or talk radio. Or worse, they just parrot what someone else told them they heard from Fox or talk radio. They also tend to be “I’m such a christian” while at the same time being complete pieces of shit.

It’s like that sign from the Women’s March:

Oh, I agree the fanbase is insufferable and I’d feel the same way you do if I lived up there.

Now playing

I have learned from this educational video to always look at my life and life choices.

Your coworker is a twat, but there’s a difference between not talking about something much at work and keeping it a secret. You don’t need to make a big “I’M ENGAGED” announcement, but if it comes up in the conversation you could acknowledge it and then move on. And if people try to ask about it, answer as minimally

People like that are insufferable. Sympathetic over here.

In my office that would get you written up as we have a rule expressly forbidding gossip about coworkers’ relationships. I hope you’re able to find a resolution soon. And congrats!

I hear you. I think you’re well within your rights to cut them off from wedding info if they’re only going to use it as gossip fodder. Just say “Eh, I don’t want to talk about it” then change the subject or go quiet on them. You’re their only source of information, so if the source dries up they’ll move on to other

The day can only get better!!!!

exactly! like, i feel bad talking about the election in the office...let alone putting up stuff! luckily, even the sexist racist old white guys here seem to be going for Clinton. It’s slightly reassuring.
