That package thing is some bullshit. I would’ve been so mad.

I got married last year and chose to keep my name, and the reactions have been interesting. Growing up I didn’t know anyone whose mother kept her maiden name after she got married. All of my now-married women friends changed their names. I don’t know any married couples who have hyphenated their last names or created

So she gave the interview and said someone bit Beyoncé knowing that, because it’s Beyoncé, people will focus and obsess over it. I’m not really even a fan of Beyoncé (pls don’t come after me Beyhive) and I want to know the biter’s identity. And now she’s saying don’t focus on it? Okay.

I’ve had the same problem but my drink of choice is wine. It’s so hard to turn down drinks with friends sometimes, but I ultimately know I’ll feel better if I make time for exercise (unfortunately I’ve never been a morning workout person).

My anxiety comes back in a hot second if I don’t get much exercise. Any time I find myself thinking about skipping the gym or a walk/run on the trail near my apartment, I remind myself of how awful I feel when I don’t. So far it’s working, and it doesn’t hurt that we’re (hopefully) in the last stages of winter

I would hate to know how much I’ve spent there over the years. It’s probably embarrassing.

Same. I like that when I order from them I can see where the clothes are coming from. I’ve also had the opposite experience of some commenter upthread. I have pieces (t-shirts included) that have held up for years.

Right?! Such a crime!

Shocking!

The first time I used it my skin felt a little bit of a burning sensation, but the bottle said that might happen as your skin gets used to the vitamin C. That’s why they have you start out mixing it with your moisturizer instead of applying it to your skin directly, I suppose. I haven’t had any breakouts since using

I use the same vitamin C stuff. It’s recommended that you combine a few drops with your moisturizer and apply it that way every other night for about two weeks, since the vitamin C can feel tingly on your skin at first. And then you can move up to just putting it on your fingers and patting it directly on the skin.

A lot of the Korean products she uses (CosRX cleanser, Neogen cleansing stick, Missha sunscreen) come from the K-beauty site Soko Glam. Some can be found on Amazon, too, which may be cheaper if you have a Prime subscription.

I’ve always had the same issues with sunscreen as you. I use the Missha one Madeleine uses and I have no problems with dryness! It is very smooth and feels like a moisturizer going on. It’s not chalky on my face, either.

I’m drinking a Peach-Pear La Croix right now and and considering adding vodka to it. Never mind that it’s 3pm.

I have to say I have not washed my winter jackets ever (I have two puffy jackets). Last week I went for a bike ride and the sand put out on the trail for the winter combined with melting snow made me a complete mess by the end. I washed all my clothes but only wiped my puffy coat off with a washcloth.

Oh wow, I totally didn’t realize Daniel Kaluuya played Posh Kenneth. I feel a little embarrassed now.

A smack in the chops followed by that wine bottle being smashed over his head (after I’ve poured the wine into my own glass, of course).

Yeah I immediately sent this article to my husband. I’m not optimistic that he’ll learn anything from it, though.

Did they say any specific amaro would be good with the bourbon? I have a bottle of Maker’s at home already.

Ooh thanks for letting me know about those! I’d much rather buy from Amazon since they’ll get to me quicker.
