I have never heard BLM or a similar movement tell white people not to come. I have heard them tell white people to listen more/talk less or take a back seat, but never not to come.

It was awful. But in some ways Trump’s election makes more sense to me now. Even most of the so-called good white women can’t see past their racial blinders.

Because it’s easier to say Bernie would have won then to take a hard look at the white supremacy that brought Trump to power and white women’s complacency or outright support of it.

I was with you until the Bernie thing. I like him, voted for him in CO. But he would not have won a general election. Period. Clinton never did any real opposition research against him in the primaries. Trump’s team would torn his liberal New England voting record apart. Let it go.

Maybe I’m reaching for a silver lining but I’m at least happy that some of these people were spouting other “pro-life” stances like being against removing health care or the death penalty. I still think they’re wrong on abortion but at least I can appreciate the more logical consistency of their position.

Aurora, CO represent! Denver and Boulder are on the list too. Denver and Aurora seem to be trying to have it both ways by claiming they are not sanctuary cities, just refusing to hold people without a warrant. Denver mayor who I don’t love but he also made a good statement about protecting all the residents.
