Oh thanks. I’m not getting a lot of support from my family so it’s nice to get some from internet people!

Of course Will is roasting Josh on Twitter. Of course.
Oh I love this idea too. Thanks jinni!
Long time reader who first started posting recently. I was always worried about internet comment negativity. I shut down my live journal (yes I am that old) because of death/rape threats. But everyone has been so positive and kind, even when we disagree.
Thanks for the perspective. Clearly the consensus is that I need to be more direct. True and so difficult, isn’t that the way it always goes?
Oh my goodness I love this idea! Also I’ve lurked for a good long while and just started posting. I feel like a celebrity responded to me so thank you!
Well endowed myself. It does add an awkward extra dimension!
That’s my first instinct. Actually my first instinct is to shout “Don’t touch me” but I push that down. I’m just worried that I’ll get a reputation as unfriendly or difficult.
My brother is going through a similar thing. Not living at home but with 4 roommates and not a great job. He keeps saying he wants to date but needs a to have a better place and more money.
My first SNS problem! Hope people can help me or at least get some sympathy. :)
Taking a 6 month break from my demanding job and moving across the world to live with my boyfriend. Told my family and they’re in various stages of disappointment and hurt. I get it, I do. But I’m so happy. And it’s brave, I’ve never done anything like this before. We’ve been talking about it for years and it finally…
Oh what a voice. Some of my favorite theater actors and actresses show up on my favorite legal shows from time to time. Renée Elise Goldsberry had a reoccuring role on The Good Wife and Leslie Odom Jr had one on SVU. Love to see her on TV too.
Makes sense. Also thanks for being so polite! I’m a long time lurker who just started posting. I was worried about the negativity but everyone’s been so pleasant. Good times.
Or maybe if you’re going to complain acknowledge the larger social reality. Like, “I hate being objectified and reduced to my body or hair. I know this is something that happens to female actors way more than it happens to me. It sucks. Let’s work so we’re all judged by our talents and not only our looks.”
Something tells me that Sanders won’t get as much crap as Warren. When she endorses Clinton she’s a bitch and a traitor. When Clinton compromises for political goals she’s a corrupt bitch. When Sanders inevitably falls in line I bet many of his bro-y followers will say “just shows how pragmatic and team-player he is!
Hey congrats! I’m looking down my own chance in a few years (not in Sweden though). I’m excited for you.
Seconded all the calls to watch some Hindi cinema. The alternative cinema of the 80s (Nasrudin Shah and Shabna Azmi) is amazing. More modern films like Ishqiya, Kahaani, Iqbal, Nil Battey Sannata, Masaan are all great. If you’re looking for a fun romance with no dancing Wake Up Sid is still one of my favorites.
My future MIL gets a fair and tall DIL, so tall in fact that I’m taller than her son!
I guess we just have to agree to disagree! What you see as genderless (i don’t even think such a thing is possible) I see as defaulting to male.
Let’s looks at just the WSJ title shall we? (i agree the WP is more ambiguous) “Women are more interested in sex than you think, studies show.” Who is “you”? Likely not women, as we already know we are interested in sex. The point of the article is to dispel a tired stereotype that women are not as interested in sex…
