There should be some kind of training to help out— usually it’s about using materials that already exist, like circulars from grocery stores, to teach English.

I love that point of view!!

I’m in rural SW Wisconsin— about an hour west of Madison. I’m hoping there’s a chapter in Madison or Dubuque.

It was all of our faults; don’t put the whole thing on yourself. But we can all think about what we’re going to do better now! Have you looked into places/organizations you can volunteer or donate to? Big Brothers/Big Sisters is one that I’ve heard is incredibly rewarding!!

I’m sorry to hear that <3 Are there certain types of situations you’re more comfortable in than others? Could you volunteer to do the record-keeping or organization for an organization you believe in, rather than be on the front lines? Best of luck to you, internet friend <3

That’sJustMyHair’s assessment that all the characters were obnoxious is not all that far off, but it’s based on a set of lovely books, and the main gist of the books is that the children are characters, in every sense of the word. However, the series feels

Eeep, he’s cute! For sure!!! Also, he might be a few years younger.

It’s entirely possible that they are going to cover this, and just are taking a little more time. It’s also likely that this here article on collard

I don’t know *anything* about A Wrinkle in Time, but based on your and GinAndTonic’s description, my vote is for Milo Parker, who can currently be seen in Masterpiece’s Durrells in Corfu. He is incredibly cute in this.
