I really admire your courage! Making that decision must have been very difficult. Do you mind me asking what is your area of study? And what specifically made you unhappy about your PhD?

Great comment, BTW! Excellent point about the character motivations flip-flopping. It's a flawed series, to be sure...but it has enough charm for me to continue watching.

I agree with Péter. The wizard didn't give a flying fart about the princess. He just wanted to get the hell out of Dodge and was indifferent to whether she came through the portal or not.

Replying to boost you out of greydom!

Stellarium, an open source planetarium software for your PC.

Are these available to international investors in general?

I predict many an avatar will be changed today...

I feel you've missed the point. Reread the first sentence of the article (emphasis mine):

Thank goodness! I thought I was the only one...

For a more interesting photograph, it's nicer to take photos of the moon with some sort of reference point - like trees, mountains or buildings. Photos of the moon by itself are kinda boring...unless you're doing it specifically for astronomy.

It may also help to reduce your expectations of your workout output while travelling. For example, you may be accustomed to 40 minute sessions; on the road, it may be more realistic to do only 15 or 20 minutes. Doing this would put less pressure on yourself to stick to your program - travelling can be stressful

Are you me? I my stepdad said the same thing to me growing up. And the sad thing was, I believed him.

THANK YOU. I could not have said this better myself.

You are a delicious bastard!

I bought one! Thanks for the heads up on the sale! :-D

Thanks, that is excellent to know and it made the decision so much easier to make - I purchased one! Can't wait to start reading on it. :-D

I like your thinking! I'm really conservative with money...I had to convince myself it was okay to splurge every once in a while to rationalise spending dough on an e-reader. But thinking about it like that puts less pressure on myself, so thanks!

Believe me, this bookworm is salivating at the though of getting one. Thanks for the feedback!

Good point. I don't recall seeing that much of a difference between the first two models when I read up on them. But do you anticipate the price of the Paperwhite 2 going below $99?

Not really...it makes it harder for your hostages to escape.
