That hasn’t been my experience. Im quite often finding physical copy’s for half the price of the digital. In many cases id much rather have the digital, but its so much cheaper to buy them physical. The only time they are the same price is right when they are released.

This, but without the welcome distraction of employment.

Similar except for the nap. Children generally don’t allow that luxury..

Same here... wake up to login about 8am... nap from 10-12... nap from 5-8, then bed around 1am.  Way too much sleeping.

You’ve probably seen the meme already but just in case:

uh....so much week night drinking

I’ve continued to exercise in the mornings thankfully, switching from my usual weightlifting to bodyweight and more yoga. I’ve been able to get up later than normal which is giving me more hours of sleep and really, physically I’m feeling better now than usual.

Without a steady schedule, my sleep habits have careened off a cliff. Instead of a steady 10:30-6 sleep schedule, I’m now going to bed at like midnight or even one in the morning. Then I wake up up just early enough to login for work, finish work and then log off and take a two-three hour nap.  Not a sustainable

It’s really scary. My boyfriend was training phlebotomists to use specialized equipment and they were all talking about how their hospitals are bracing themselves for it to get really bad. No one can get approval for Covid 19 testing and everywhere is running out of supplies to do tests, respirators and are not

Why not just abolish it? It costs time, money, productivity, and causes an increase in accidents each year. The reasons it was implemented no longer exist.

Probably 75% of the sick time I’ve taken at my job has been mental health days. I figure so long as I’m doing my job and have less sick time spent than my boss and co-worker I’m good. It also helps that they have kids and end up burning through sick time like candy.

These would also make nice Magic play mats. I have a standard size play mat as a desk mat at work and it’s not quite big enough for some keyboard/mouse combos.

You can pull the sprouts from my cold, dead hands.

I have the world map one and like it a lot. It did take some getting used to due to switching from mouse pads with a wrist rest however.

Just took a mental health “sick” day last week. I try to do one every couple months, normally on a Wednesday to help break up the week.

I’m fortunate enough to be in good health, and rarely get sick enough to actually take a sick day. I 100% have taken a sick day as a mental-health day before.

I really like Breathe, which is a free app (I think). I have it on iOS, I'm not sure if it's available on android. You pick five emotions and it recommends a meditation for you. There are extra meditations you can buy but the free ones are working well for me so far.

I’d also like to throw Insight Timer into the mix for folks who might like free and also like variety. It’s got a great timer, and a mix of guided meditations from folks such as Tara Brach, Joseph Goldstein and others.

I've found rolling deadlines help with Parkinson's law. It's often hard to determine how long a project will take at the beginning. We'll often give ourselves a week to finish a project and by the end of the week understand why it will take an additional two weeks. So we roll the deadline back for two more weeks.
