I hear you. Every time I see videos of people at a conference, event, etc, I get anxiety. It’s going to be a slow crawl back to whatever “normal” turns out to be after this.

Well, I tied it once, and decidd id rather chop my hands offf than listen to it again.

They could’ve gone right from ROJ to The Mandalorian. Good god they got the world feels right there.

“What is this?! A spaceship for ANTS?!”

“Couldn’t Nintendo have sent Tsusaka’s grandmother a Switch as a replacement? Or at least a New Nintendo 2DS XL, with its giant and bright screen as a better alternative that would presumably be a lot easier on her aging eyes?”

You missed the most obvious one - Quark’s bar.

These units still need to be powered by a PC, so jack up the price a lot to cover that. I’m incredibly surprised that Oculus doesn’t have any competition in the market yet. At $150, the Go is an absolutely fantastic experience, and with simple controls, is super accessible to anyone to try out VR. That’s the sort of

I’m not sure a sky full of people with these things is safer than a ground full of scooters.

Astro Butt Plug?

As a parent, I respect your choices, but I take a different approach. The world is full of curses, so instead of trying to shield her from the words, we explain their meaning in context(when appropriate) and teach her when and where there are situations where they are useful.

I suppose it would give modern comics that vintage look too, at least for now. I could see a 10 inch reader sold directly from the big publishers, with unlimited access to classics and a subscription package for new comics. I know most of that exists, but for a Marvel fan, it would be cool to have something integrated

Perfect for comics.

I mean, just take that scene in the death star throne room. That thing blew up - spectacularly - and then fell from space and crashed on a planet. I’m supposed to believe that that nice window structure survived, and the place has working doors?

I can’t see dropping $500 on a Chromebook. I love them for what they are, but no.

Look, I LOVE my chromebook. Between a fast web experience, and the android app support, it handles everything I need from the web. However, I paid $80 for it (Might still be available from your local MicroCenter if you’re interested). There’s no way I’d pay $1000 for “just” the web and some android apps. I don’t care

Wait... The one with Linux pre-installed is $200 more?

There’s too much we don’t know about Baby Yoda, so presenting any sort of theory is probably premature (pun intended). Is he a clone? Is he a hybrid? Is he a HE? How would those affect his/her development?

This is cool, and dangerous, but it’s impossible to build a “true” lightsaber. You would need light/plasma to extend slowly from the handle and then stop at a predetermined length, while maintaining it’s structure in an open air environment. That’s just not how light or plasma works.

Clearly this patent is for checking to see if you’re attempting to do “the twist.” I assume it will send an alert informing you to “Sit down. You’re not all that.”
