Exactly. I don't get how people immediately choose "obviously this cat wants to kill me" over "obviously this cat is terrified and fighting for it's life". Cats are soooo tiny. It's not a real threat! So sorry you got scratched a bit, but get over it. That cat is only a threat to your pet hamster.

Mmmhmm. So, I'm being cornered and harassed, and I should just walk away. Because that works out so well. Have you not been paying attention to all the stories in which women tried to walk away, and were beaten or even killed for it? Oh, and fuck you for insinuating I started it.

If she were a man these stories wouldn't have happened.

I swear 99 percent of these "cat gone crazy" fiascos could have been avoided with the tiniest sprinkle of common sense. You catch more bees with honey, and you catch more cats with tuna.

Right? A little tuna juice and their problems would have been over.

Agreed. Cat overlord shtick is funny, except that it's often used as a joke on terrified cats (this one who mistakenly got in a window, probably because it smelled food) and cats already get a bad rap. Poor kitteh is right.

Poor kitteh was terrified. It thought it was fighting for its life! No wonder it bit and shat.

I'm glad the experience made you more empathetic to what women go through, although I'm sorry you had to experience that! That type of thing is what feminists mean when they refer to male "entitlement"- that guy thought he had a right to your reciprocated interest, just because he was interested in you. Ridiculous

He is my best buddy :) Seriously, I think that a man who would harm a woman's pet to show his anger is the lowest of the low. What an abusive, cruel, monstrous coward.

It's sad that it takes this experience actually happening to a man to understand the female experience, because unless it actually happens to you, y'all think we're lying or conceited when we bitch about it.

Police report the rabbit survived the beating and is recovering.

There sure is! It's a revolutionary new plugin that takes a bit of time to get working correctly, but it's got a catchy name: "Do Not Click On Articles That You Would Not Like To Read." While it is theoretically possible to maybe get suckered in to clicking on an article that you would not like to read, this plugin

I'm honored that you would compare me to Patricia. If I've shown a fraction of the courage she's shown during my time here at Kotaku, it's thanks in large part to the inspiration she's given me.

"...my Straight Pride conflicts with your Gay Pride"

That's because real gamers don't judge! Proud to be a gamer!

YES. YES IT SHOULD. Why? Because being in a minority that is abused by the majority fucking sucks.

Went over your head eh. OK. Creating a negative attitude, a negative believe, that gay sex is gross does affect my life. It provides idiots more fodder to be abusive. Maybe next time think before you type?

I don't think I'll ever be able to wrap my head around why people are so concerned with who's sticking what where or in who. Love is love.

As a straight man I find it interesting to read about how a gay/bisexual man struggles with his thoughts and then comes to peace with it. As a human being I don't understand how anyone could treat a homosexual differently from a straight person .. People are people, right?
