I'm trans. My parents are still married, happy, and approaching 70. They married when they were 20. This 'broken home' BS has no relation to people identifying as trans.

So you can't go to the university and complain about sexual abuse, because it's not a 'legal hearing' and they abuser gets to potentially just walk away.

Who votes for them? They held the cup. Someone must have been voting for them. I doubt that FIFA would want the cup in the USA again so soon, football is just not big enough in the USA compared to the rest of the world. They'll go somewhere else, that has the same quality of stadiums but a larger fan base.

I think that is wrong, and a very USA centric view. So many countries globally can host the world cup quickly and profitably. Let's look at just the last few years, the last time the States had the event was 1994, since then France, South Korea/Japan, Germany, South Africa. All of those countries could host the world

Cities only in the USA. Perhaps that should have been in the headline?

I know, that's why it should be covered in the story. But the headline? I dunno.

As a trans woman who will never pass 'acceptance depending on stealth' is not an option. By far the majority of trans women do not pass. The Laverne's of the world are rare. So we cannot ever fight for 'hey if you pass it's all good' we need to fight for 'how about not physically attacking me or verbally abusing me,

Not really. Not while prejudice against trans people is coming from all directions, including the supposedly friendly directions of LGB. But that's OK, because the slurs from the LGB community 'come from a place of love.' Bleh.

Language matters. It's a shame gay males have forgot how hard they fought against 'faggot'. It's not a joke to transgender women to have the slur 'tranny' yelled at you.

Kat, I read this and as a trans woman I was disheartened and disgusted at the lack of humanity in those onlookers.

Good luck, I wish your progress well and provide many Internet hugs.

Yeah really hard. Here in Canada you need to go before a judge to get one, good luck doing that before 2025. I had a sociopath ex who I was desperate to get a restraining order on but it was so hard and I'd had to have missed so much work that in the end I couldn't do it.

Thanks!

Birdo is trans? Where's this from?

Do you even realise how amazingly ignorant what you just said is? I can't be bothered arguing with you and educating you is clearly a no go.

The number of people on here saying how awful it was to ask Nintendo to be inclusive is disappointing. How asking for equality was 'crazy' and 'extreme'. That asking for representation is 'counter-productive'. Really sad, Kotaku commenters.

No. Nope. Nay. Never.

Or those games were not on a cartridge, on the 3DS?

As a woman about to be married to a woman, I disagree. It would be nice to be represented. EVER.
