As funny as that was I gotta go with Lucious being the best part of the finale. I've never enjoyed Lucious more, homeboy was showing his ASS. "I'M A GOD!!! NO ONE CAN KILL ME!!! I WILL RISE FROM THE ASHES LIKE A PHOENIX!!!" *breathes fire*

Well they certainly swung for the fences didn't they? This episode officially solidified Empire as the best worst show on television for me, I love/hate this show so damn much lol.

"Hood Politics" put's me in such a young and ignorant frame of mind. In that way it almost feels like a companion piece to tracks like "Art Of Peer Pressure" and "Backseat Freestyle".

I was seriously hoping that they'd let it die (at least for a while) when she frickin moved in with Eddie but nooooooooo. What's worse is that this whole situation makes both Barry & Iris look like assholes. I know the heart wants what it wants and all but come on.

Excuse you Eddie has a name and he's a national treasure

Hooooly shit that was one hell of an episode, could've easily been the season finale, but is anyone else a bit tired of this Iris/Barry thing or is it just me?

The CW has been killing it for the past couple of years

Kendrick Lamar just SMASHED the sophmore slump stigma. I'm not saying that it hasn't been made but I, personally, have never heard a modern hip-hop album that encapsulates the black experience in America more completely than To Pimp A Butterfly. It feels like he let a solid 2 years of thoughts and emotions fester

Or even better, Sam was the abuser. We've already seen that the kid has anger issues and is super persuasive

Good lord what an episode. There was topnotch gore here, inspired set pieces (the revolving door sequence was one of the best things the show's ever done) and a brisk pace but most importantly it gave us one hell of an argument as to why Rick taking over the town might not actually be a bad idea. Up until this point

If he were older I wouldn't be mad at that

I knew Gosling's name was gonna pop up the moment I read the headline

I'm not saying that he doesn't love his family and that a part of him wasn't actually trying to save them, but I don't believe for a second that there wasn't a part of him that was manipulating the situation. If I'm wrong I'm fine with eating crow.

That honestly wouldn't be a surprised because it's a total mess and all but ruined Enzo as a character for everyone. Matt Donovan needs some damn purpose in this town though, he's the only human character that hasn't been ANYTHING else.

It so sad to see what they've done with Stefan these days

Yea it's a shame too because early on Stefan & Caroline definitely would've been a better/healthier relationship than him & Elena. It wasn't really until this season that it got kind of toxic.

I thought he'd be a bigger part of this whole Sara Salvatore arc, I'm sad that it seems not to be the case.

I used to generally appreciate Stefan's levelheaded earnesty since it was a total foil to Damon being a raging asshat but they've went overboard with it recently. The most genuinely enjoyable that Stefan's been to me is Amnesia!Stefan (Though Silas is a close second). Still a really great guy, didn't have the baggage

I agree, I generally Team Stefan but his Superman Complex has gotten a bit overbearing recently (though this has more to do with the writers than him as a character which is a disservice to Paul Wesley). In the past, while he was still very protective, it seldom ever felt like it was coming from a self absorbed place

The end shot of Catherine & Stefan was so deliciously sinister that I actually got goosebumps. For the first time in a little while I'm legitimately excited to see where the show is headed.
