It was already confirmed you don't need to get the 1 month of service with it by verizon. People routinely make judgements about things like this based on rumors and outdated information.

" Why, that's right on par with iPad 2! About time."

@Kakkoii: Honestly, having had an iphone and seeing how much better the apps were, i wouldn't even think about taking up the argument "oh gosh they're so closed off and stuff". Really? The few apps that they decided to remove for whatever reason made you think iphone users are worse off than android users? You need to

@Zaos: In my own experience, i went against what everyone said about att and switched from verizon to get an iPhone. Only to find out what everyone bashed att for was totally right. In my case anyway. No signal, dropped calls, intermittant data. The only good thing was the iphone itself and the data. When it worked it

@Norbs: None. None and none. The only way apple would even come back to the table is if they get to keep their phone untainted. Verizon probably wants to mess with it, but they want the money it'll bring in/subscribers even more. If it comes, it'll be just like the att version, probably with vz's apps available in the

@Master_Soda: I think your statement is even lamer. They needed to address a problem which could keep millions of people from buying their new model. They HAD to have a conference about it. iPhone being on verizon? People will find out through this conference and mucho advertising. Apple doesn't need to do anything

@Swift2001: Because even though verizon is a larger network with more subscribers and as reported recently, android users are more data hungry than ANYONE, this one new phone would just take the entire network down huh?

@minimaltek: Least htc gives updates 4 months late. 4 months...vs...never getting them at all on sammy! How's that 2.1 treatin ya?

@SuperTongueIII: Look at it this way. If it has "DROID" branding, it won't be all bing'd up

@bsegovia: I honestly couldn't agree more. Remember when iphone didn't have mms and applers (yes, applers!) said that they didn't need mms anyway. that in was so 1990's and email is where it's at. What happened when mms was finally added? "Ohhh this is cool"

@CaffineFreakUs: Droid 2 for me and my girl too. This is quite literally the first phone i've ever had that i feel i could keep for more than a year. No problems whatsoever. Now just update my phone to support 720p capture like the incredible!

@HilliardAsina: on my ps3 while watching movies in hd through the netflix app, there are indeed selectable subtitles

@Afrit: I have the hd66 also (youtube.com/soulweaponry for proof) and i may just be the only one that didn't even buy it for it's 3d superpowers. I get comments all the time asking about it and i'm like "meh, buy it for a big ass hd picture. Not the 3d". For the price of only $628 on amazon, it beats any hdtv i've

@abadpun: This new defense big screen lovers are using of "Do you wear tight pants or something? Gawwwd" is just getting tired. It's literally the first sentence in a response to a topic like this. Do you guys copy and paste each other or what?

I have a duty to buy this call of duty...thing.

@budholly101: Error message being "your number could not be validated" right? Yeah, happens when i'm on wifi. My theory is that for some reason, it won't validate my number when i'm on wifi. So i have to switch off wifi and then boom. It works! Don't understand it, but it's better than going to the website in a hurry

How about we start with a list of celebrities we'd like to sink and make a movie out of that

@Ding-Dang: just like how the titanic sinking was staged? Gotcha!

@Destronok: I hereby nominate you for win of the year, goodsir!

I'll get a tablet when it comes preloaded with pics of amanda seyfriend on it. Buying new devices every month and having to reload her pics is getting to be too much work. Plus, I'm sure having those pics on it makes my resale value go up. Or is that jessica alba?
