We were turning left under a green arrow and a drunk driver ran the red light doing about 55mph. It resulted in a head on, driver corner to driver corner, crash. We were in a mid 2000's Dodge ram and the other guy was in a late 80', possibly early 90's, Corolla. We were beat up but ok. The other guy didn’t make it.

I think we’re close to that zone, but I think you’re wrong that we’re there. If we’re just getting around to making sure the passenger side can take the same abuse the driver’s side can, we’ve obviously got some room for improvement. Same goes for rear impact tests (as you can see from the rear impact test of the

Lotta a numbers to think about here! Twenty-years-old, six-digit mileage, five-digit price tag, a “mere” 390 horsies out of twelve cylinders.

The car and bike chases were pretty good, and partially made up for the travesty of the MI-2 ‘jousting’ scene.

Damn straight. They’re getting free room and board, the little buggers can push.

I can guarantee you that this thing probably has $80k in the resto, and that’s being pretty conservative; $30k sounds like it would be about right.

Restored FJ40s are in this price neighborhood (let’s not even get into Defenders) and this is way cooler and rarer. Not a mass-market play but definitely NP for the intended audience.

We’ve had our Pacifica PHEV for 2 months. In 1700 miles we’ve used only 19 gallons of fuel (due to 2 8 hour road trips).  Seating for 7, a ton of cargo room, and a roof rack.  Best car purchase we've ever made!

Small brands (e.g. Mazda, Subaru, Volvo etc.) need a theme to sell and be memorable. Mazda sells on having value-priced cars that drive as well as cars costing 2~3x as much. Subaru sells on practicality & standardized AWD. Volvo has earned a reputation of enviable safety and Swedish design. Mitsubishi...doesn’t really

You can get a 12 year old sienna or odyssey for ~$5k, and you can even sleep in it! it’s the perfect adventure mobile:

Only in the long run... 2 people looking at a 20k car, one with great credit and one with sub-par credit, one is going to pay less in the long run because they qualify for better APR’s than the other. But OTD price doesnt change.

Considering it’s mid-engined... I was thinking either an Ariel Atom-esque roll cage tube frame, or maybe body it as a Fiero. Like you know a reverse replica replica.

This desperately needs an AC Roadster body slapped on it.

This looks like an article Kristen Lee should have written.

Anonymous specifically said “Need a new-to-me ride.” which doesn’t mean looking for something NEW - NEW - NEW to me.

THIS. The Ford GT is stretched out a tad more, but they have undeniably similar profiles. Especially the fender flare and roof.

NEWS: Ford announced yesterday that they were suing another dealership, “Ferrari MotorCoach” out of Italy for violating the sales contract on selling a Ford GT within the specified 2-year ownership period.

When reached for a response, the owner of “Ferrari” resigned, citing “Inappropriate conduct”.
