Yep!
Yep!
I feel like this is what the majority of new Wrangler buyers imagine that they’ll have to do at some point.
Soooo pretty. Really I don’t think having a commuter and having a 30 year car makes sense. If nice Vipers were a bit more under his budget, it would seem an ideal part of a two car solution.
If it wasn’t for the commuting part, this would be a great suggestion.
What are the results for non-Ninja Turtles?
That’s true, good call.
For the JL development, it was literally in his previous contract that he didn’t.
What body on frame trucks have this? Engineering this gets hard when you have the cabin and bed flexing independently of one another.
I do think a lot of people are missing this, especially those complaining about departure angle. Part of Jeeps’ appeal has always been the modularity and customizability. A body on frame truck’s bed has always been modular. In a year or two I’m sure we’ll see all kinds of options for the Gladiator’s bed.
I’m curious about this, but for me it depends on how good the gas mileage is. The hybrid system might be more about that than all electric range. 17 miles pretty much does my errand runs (assuming it gets close to that in most conditions), but not my wife’s somewhat commute. So it would be a good start, but it’s…
Yep, there is definitely a difference between not agreeing to stifle information already out there on a company’s behalf and agreeing to not publish and article until a certain date in exchange for access to a vehicle. If they broke the second they would 1. Be a dick for breaking their word. 2. Never receive a tester…
New way to get around the Rooney Rule: Interview random minority candidates from other fields and get points for being inclusive and thinking outside the box while at the same time creating no doubts as to why you didn’t hire them.
I think that the overland market (and its wannabes) will help sales of the Jeep pickup compared to the last time around. Seems a pretty ideal time to introduce it with some racks and the like. The trim names suggest that they see the opportunity.
Someone posted a lifted car in the “Dumbest choices you’ve made with your car” post and everyone said “That’s not dumb, that’s awesome” (it was). But then “It’s just a lifted Fit/Focus/El Dorado/etc.” is one of the sites favorite slurs.
I’ve interacted with the Eco Sport mostly in India. It was created in Brazil and India was one of its first markets. The small size and slightly greater ride height makes a ton of sense in places like that.
Looking at the comments above, I also don’t mind the xB, Soul, and Cube, so I guess not disliking this isn’t too surprising.
I actually like it. I think it’s a pretty ideal car for tons of people. Really compact CUVs are pretty darn practical vehicles for a lot of the population now that their gas mileage isn’t that much different than their car equivalents. Let them trade a bit of handling for their preferred height for entry/visibility.
It kind of reminds me of what would happen if McLaren applied their design language to a sperm.
That...is not the car I’ve been dreaming of as the specs trickled out.
“It’s not like ford would have them assemble 900hp drift machines to sell....”
