Same question. On Autotrader, I see some Jetta TDIs barely showing a $2k discount. If it gets applied on top of all that, I guess I’m buying myself a TDI shortly...

Gahhh, I’m trying to be fiscally responsible, Tom!!! Y U DO THIS?

I don’t disagree with your viewpoint but one thing to note is that being mostly a service industry doesn’t just refer to people working in restaurants, hotels, and the like, which was a mistake I made for a while. Electricians, plumbers, and various other jobs that make pretty good wages are also considered part of

So, legitimate question, how would you go about raising the minimum wage? It’s a really difficult question to answer and I have no idea what it will take to help bring back the middle class.

Yes, I’m serious. I am not denying or ignoring all the effort that went into creating the actual driving components and haven’t gotten to drive one so I have no idea how it will do in that department. I hope it’s great because I actually really try to like Chevy. I love what Mary Barra has done with the company and am

It looks awesome! Great job!!

That’s exactly my feeling. I love the Bolt on paper but I got a chance to sit in their highest trim level a couple months ago... what a disappointment... I hated all the plastic everywhere. I spent half as much (of the Bolt’s MSRP) on a Jetta and despite being plastic-heavy for my taste, it’s nothing compared to the

Not particularly simple if it’s done the way I believe is the right way. Some people just spray stuff and hope that it cleans it off enough. The only way to truly get all the carbon buildup off is to remove the intake manifold and clean the back of the valves by hand with a little pick and some chemicals or by walnut

PLEASE DO NOT USE A CAR COVER. I am a car detailing enthusiast and while I will never pretend to know it all, I am a little more knowledgeable about this than your average person.

A car cover, unless perfectly clean (which we all know is a bit of a pipe dream) and being placed on a perfectly clean car (which would not

I miss my bike :( I hate people texting more than I miss my bike though...

Wholeheartedly agree!

It really is insane. Sit in a top-trim Jetta and it’s pretty nice. That was always my experience with them so I loved them. I sat in an S the other day... good God, what a terrible piece of crap. I already thought the SEL had too much plastic. The S was horrible...

There might be a software update for that. I had similar issues with my DSG but the software fixed it :)

Also, pretty sure it’s leatherette but at least it doesn’t feel too terrible? Haha

Sweet, happy to hear it. The carbon build-up is pretty common on DI engines. I have to clean mine off every 50k miles or so (well, that’s when I do it so I avoid catastrophic failure, anyway)! It gets expensive but it’s nice to not worry so much about that, at least.

That is definitely weird, man! Life is kind of interesting like that, sometimes. Just happy to know it wasn’t a sad ending to that day for you guys.

Glad you made it through that alive! This was always my worst fear when riding.

If it’s showing a dysfunctional family where the parents hate their kid, sure! :)

I’m guessing 97% of that was on the 335? Haha :) legitimate question: has your 4Runner given you more issues than expected or is it as reliable as everyone assumes they are?

RE: Indiana registration, that’s awesome!! Don’t you have to pay yearly fees though? How would they bill you without an address??
