Yes! it used to be a feature on all of their Carousel style CD Players, the player itself was above the carousel, the disc playing would lift and stay in place while you could open the tray and change the rest of the trays.

So it’s really a Garmin InReach competitor, very close to what the InReach Messenger offers, Motorola doesn’t seem to go in details on what satellite network they’ll use, or how the communication works. Garmin now owns GEOS for emergency response so they can’t use that.

Suzuki has massive success in the rest of the world, their vehicles would not fare well in the US because of what the average American customer wants (i.e. a massive truck), with that said, Suzuki likely just does not even care about the US market.

the transition to USB-C connectors has been so painful, between confusing standards for the charging portion of it, data portion of it and then the overall added costs (connector cost, extra circuitry, etc) has kept a lot of manufacturers from implementing this in simpler circuits.
