Yeah, I'm a stickler for parking and will point out poor parking etiquette to others. My "rules" are these (much to my wife's puzzled looks and frustration):

No contest with this one...F1 car wins...better aero and ERS.

Nice...now I understand why McLaren didn't officially release the 7:05 for the P1 and said it was "...slow". Can't wait to see what they do next...

It is possible that's his car...

University and Dundas...His office is at 480 University.

It was this powder blue...or whatever you call it. It was not silver. It looks silver in the photo submerged in sewage (yes, it was sewage) in the tunnel beside Union station. It's the lights that are fooling you...

His office is just around the corner from mine and I had seen that Ferrari quite regularly. He parked it on the street and drove it in the winter...you could tell he was a car guy. Saw his Viper just a couple of hours ago...

Yeah...me to...and I'm at work... :-)

I dunno...something about V8 and small that doesn't mesh well for me. This is my favourite V8 (from the SLS):

True...but their availability where some of us live is quite limited. There is only one manual model of MB cars in Canada. At least Audi and BMW have a good selection...but that is diminishing each year. I'll keep on buying manuals until I can't find them any more. Or, at least not in a brand I like...

I think it's going to be very hard to top The Tumbler. Also, depending on the style and art direction of the movie, the vehicle would have to follow suit. The Nolan movies had a really cool real-world, experimental military tech feel to them and The Tumbler fit in well. To me, it's been the best incarnation of the

Since the regulations have been tightening at Le Mans, the LMP1 cars are starting to look the same, but they're anything but. The Porsche car will be petrol powered, not diesel like the Audi, and that requires a very different bits under the skin.

I think age may be a significant contributing factor...economics second...

I never liked this approach to turn signals. How is this better than just flashing the whole thing on/off? I don't see a safety/visibility benefit...only "coolness". Can't wait to see some gimmicky hacks...

This should be interesting. The M1 Abrams (and all of it's variants) has yet to face a modern MBT in battle. Sorry...30 year old T-62's, 40+ year old T-55's in Iraq don't count...not much of a competition there. So, this'll be the closest we'd get to a full on battle. Can't wait!!!

Would it be great? Yes. Will it happen? No. There might be more factory support in the GT ranks, but not in LMP1.

Agreed on #2 (trash) and #9 (feet on dash) as something that I would ask nicely and, if ignored, would pull over and tell them to get out.

That's because no Ferrari, or any other sports car for that matter, should have cup holders...

Pneumatic valves have been in race engines for 20+ years. They work...but I think the ancillary systems that go with them (to store and provide the pressurized air to actuate the valves) would add weight and complexity that isn't needed right now. Cams shafts work.

That would be the saddest thing to happen to the automobile. We have way too many "electronic nannies" in the car making people turn into zombies behind the wheel. Manual transmissions are fun, they get you closer to the mechanical aspects of the vehicle, and make you a better driver.
