Problem is in the US, majority people get AWD and think they don’t have to change tires apart from stock. When I used snow tires on a FWD Altima or RWD M45, I was easily able to handle snow without and better than AWD SUV’s as they had stock tires or bald tires and thought AWD made up for this.

Same as what I thought they looked like, guess it’s what he saw the world as. It was nice to see the creatures left up to the imagination rather than showing them. The creatures that were dropped don’t feel frightening at all.

Did the same, unintentionally, when I picked up the M45. It came with summer tires and snowed 2-3 inches. a 10 minute drive home turned into an hour. Could not get above 15mph (luckily) and “braking” was laughable. Took side streets to keep the car from blocking traffic and crawl home. Had winter tires on order

I really feel like it’s the cost that’s impacting it. I just couldn’t justify spending $1,000+ for a phone when the lower model is close in terms of performance and that extra money can go elsewhere.

It was that or the 2.0T for VW, though I might be wrong about that. There was a lot of hype there and it just sadly fell through

Tested one and liked it but a shame the manual was FWD and they never got a more powerful engine apart from the base. Still see a few around every once in a while.

Seems HP is really on a roll with their designs lately. really like the Spectre x360 and this seems like an even nicer design. Curious how the materials would hold up in the long run.

Ultimately it’s the employees and consumers that will be hit though. In the long run, if consumers take the hit and continue purchasing the products at elevated prices, it could justify to keep the prices high after tariffs are lifted.

Shame about the headphone jack and pretty much what kills the phone and brand for me now. I liked my OP1, OP2, and now OP6.

Maybe it was the amount of apps but I recall it taking a good 15-30 seconds to populate the desktop when exiting an app at times which was infuriating. Overall, I liked the phone a lot, especially knowing that the OS can improve and it was a first iteration. It was sad seeing how much nicer the iPhones were designed

I always wondered about this and how many people actually tip. I try to aim for 20% should the ride be good since it’s pretty standard rate when using cabs as well.

Had a V90 as a rental for 2 weeks and as good as it was for keeping you in the lane and engaged, I did have some issues with it.

Seeing this and seeing Infiniti in the 2000's, it’s pretty sad. I have an 06 M45 and friends with older G’s and they were great cars. Maybe not as sporty as BMW but there were so close. Now I just look at the lineup and.......nothing. The Q looks nice but it feels like the entire lineup doesn’t know if it wants to

First thing I thought too. such cheap looking animation for the characters, shame as the space scenes do look good.

I’ve actually been looking at the GT2 prices around my area and just about all are going for $7-12K under MSRP. Curious if they just didn’t sell well enough, if they priced them too high, or if people are waiting for the 2019's at this point.

5th Gear: You’re Bad At Technology

I recall seeing the videos. I’m sure with the ramp up of building cars, it just wasn’t feasible to have batteries sitting around in case someone might want to swap it out. Maybe this will change in the future but we’ll see.

Shame, I’d give up on the on-screen fingerprint scanner to get the 3.5mm jack. Looks like once my OP6 dies, I’ll be looking elsewhere for a new phone. I do have bluetooth headphones for activities where a wired headset is cumbersome (working out for example) but I still prefer wired as I don’t have to worry about

The “If I have cash” scenario goes back to what OP said. all debt is bad and you should do cash only. It was more of an example.

Look at auto financing. Just skimming across Kia earlier and 0%-0.9% APR for 60-72 months depending on model. Seen the same offers from other manufacturers, granted for qualified buyers. 0% financing on Nissan’s as well. Can probably look at Toyota, Honda, etc and find the same about now.
