I wonder if the GamerGaters and “Anti-Feminists” ever stop and think about the fact that literal Nazis are going “This is such a good idea, we’re going to dedicate our resources to helping you!”.
At the age of 16, he’s able to outsmart one of the biggest game developers on the planet and do so in an artistic, charismatic way, all without causing any harm to anybody.
This is really cool! I’m so glad that the ongoing dialogue between developer and player allows for finetuning like this. :D
Not only that, but also having an unbiased, highly intelligent program able to verify which cards are “Good” and which are “Bad” can massively, permanently, change competitive game design.
I love “That Dragon, Cancer”, and it’s a great step in gaming as art. That being said, when a game is THIS much “just story”, making a Let’s Play is just a sliver-cut away from being outright pirating.

That’s what I was thinking! Carrying your own full-time entertainment career is worth a helluva lot more than a maybe-sorta living wage.
