Yeah, but the second I saw Bonnie see Perry grab Celeste I was hoping it would be her. It really seemed like she had been in that situation before and understood exactly what was going on.
Can i just say that Zoe Kravitz is pure perfection? I mean, god damn.
I burst into tears when they fought to protect Celeste. Uncontrollable sobs. These women. Anyone who has been through this can understand the real desire to have that protection and safety. The story of Celeste was so well done. I wish the ending wasn’t a fantasy for so many women. Bravo Nicole and Reese!!!
Reese broke my fucking heart when she was caught between Celeste and Jane and realized what was going on.
That ending was so good I went back and watched it again.
That was the best fucking hour of TV I’ve seen in a long time.

She’s great in this, but so is Reese, and of course they are both exec producers of it....I commented to Mr. Again last week, one thing about this show is you can tell why all/most of these ladies have Oscars or have been nominated...they’re A list for good reason. It’s a treat to see so much talent/skill all in one…

I think the accents make sense for both Kidman and Skarsgard. The physical setting of the show is already glamorous, but throw in the gorgeous and vaguely foreign persons of Kidman and Skarasgard and the glamor is suddenly off the charts. And then, of course, the glamour is revealed to be bullllllshit. I didn’t think…
Honestly, all the main cast is amazing in this show. Witherspoon/Kidman/Skarsgård/Dern have the most complex work to do, and they all do it beautifully, but I am also impressed by the child actors. None of them suck! How rare is that?
Nicole is doing the heaviest lifting by a long shot but I can’t get over how much I love Reese in this. I don’t know if I’ve ever related to a character so much, and I’m not even a parent. The emotional compartmentalization, the leftover hurt, the boneheaded mistakes...just, very real stuff, I feel.
