Statistically only 22% of black people use Twitter compared with 16% of white people. I've been using my google machine quite a lot lately.

Thanks for not writing me off as a terrible person for asking an innocent question about a medium I barely use.

Well-intentioned idiots are why we can't have nice things.

Nice try but I'm 28. My avatar is from The Onion.

Its kinda cute actually. They think they're making intelligent arguments too. LOL

Oh come off it. Is this a prank?

It wasn't until a few minutes after I posted this that I realized what I'd done.

If your first reaction is to accuse me of being a racist because I questioned the medium for an essay I thought was well-written, than you have a lot to think about.

I'm reposting a previous comment I made here that I think applies:

Best justification I've gotten. I think Twitter ought to explore options for people to publish longer content via the Twitter medium without blowing up someone's feed with a million little messages.

I thought it was a thoughtful and informative piece. I simply think it has more impact as a cohesive work than broken into 40 chunks sprinkled across someone's Twitter feed and competing with everything else on that feed.

I'm convinced most people under 25 are unable to communicate effectively regardless of what medium they use.

Obviously I don't get it. Please tell me why anyone would tweet that instead of linking to an essay?

Ya. I'm old, but so is that GIF. Im right and you know it.

Why the hell would someone publish that as a series of 40 tweets when a link to a coherent essay of the same content would be so much better.

That's what schizo republicans said in 2006. Morons are all the same, regardless of what team they cheer for.

I grew up in the Milwaukee area (where Caliendo is from) and remember listening to him do fake call-ins to the morning drive show as famous celebs.

Glad to know you're ok with doing whatever North Korean hackers tell us from now on.

Even if the threat were credible (which it isn't) we still shouldnt stop movies from playing because they hurt some real-life bond villian's feelings. If you're scared, don't go.
