During the second impeachment, they showed security camera footage from that day and you can see Ashli Babbitt running through the crowd and charging up the stairs with her Trump cape flowing out behind her. I remember thinking how enthusiastically she was running to her own death.

I don’t believe that DeSantis can pick up Trump’s cult. I’ve still seen no evidence that it is transferable. Trump had years of The Apprentice to brainwash the yokels into thinking he was a good businessman. No other Republican has the benefit of that.

I’m convinced that books written by political figures are basically money laundering. This is true for left and right. Whether it’s Ted Cruz or Bernie Sanders, I’d be happy banning current Congresspeople from being able to collect royalties from their books until after they leave office.
