Before this debate, no one knew who Delaney was or what he believed. If you watched this debate, both of those questions were answered. That doesn’t mean you necessarily loved Delaney, as he quite clearly embraced a moderate view on almost everything. But Delaney’s repeated clashes with Sanders and Warren were a win

My view on it is that his work in Congress trying, and failing, to get legislation passed has lead him and this country to the moment it’s at today. Without Sanders fighting for his ideals constantly for 30 years, we wouldn’t have these incredibly progressive democrats on stage (and not being laughed at) and bills

the real crystal tariffs are the friends we made along the way.

Yeah, the way this debate was moderated and the ensuing coverage from CNN and the other big networks is a great big reminder that the major news networks are not actually news organizations, but simply megaphones for their owners: people with vested interests in killing progressive momentum.

God, I know. She’ll say something that has needed saying in the public discourse for forever and then follow up with, and the answer to fix this is . . . magic!

Person-of-sharks!

Either that, or one of his arms is now a hook.

Oh I wasn’t even paying attention to rankings, to be honest. From that perspective I’d be hard pressed to disagree.

He said “Democrat Party”. The answer is Russia.

Me when Marianne Williamson started her discussion on Flint by pointing out economic inequality and government’s response to places of poverty vs wealth and the disenfranchisement of people of color but then pivoting to dark psychic energy.

Delaney is fine as a representative of what I’m going to assume is a pretty conservative district.

You live north of Canada?!?!?

Marianne Williamson then turned him into a newt

They already told him to go home.  His staff, I mean.  He keeps denying it.

#GoHomeDelaney

If he had any self-respect he should have just excused himself, walked off the stage and called an Uber back to his hotel.

Delaney goes back to insurance lobby talking points about “fantasy” policies.

Sanders shot back: “It’s not a business!”
