Ah, but that would be smart and logical, two adjectives not typically used to describe HR (#notallhr, I know). The best way I can describe HR at my multinational is that they’re not half as clever as they think they are (also applies to a lot of our leadership).

HR isn’t for you - they’re there to protect the status quo of middle and upper management.

Yes. If you tilt the pic til the tree line on the mountains is the background is horizontal-ish, you’ll get a better idea of the gradient. I’d probably still just sloooowly snowplow my way around the course though!

Heard about this win earlier today and am just so pleased for Bailey. He came this close to a medal in the sprint and I think in the pursuit as well. He’s by all accounts a good guy who is respected and well liked by the rest of the athletes. And part of the athlete delegation at the governing body.
