So true! My husband is taking French classes, so I got him to listen to the Racine Carrée album. They're good songs to discuss and the vocab is pretty clever.

Show-off!
They might have a rubbish team, but it's definitely the best song!
Not giving a fuck about what other people think is the absolute most freeing feeling in the world. I know that for me, it's like a switch flipped and it was just liberating. I don't care if people don't like that I'd rather go on holidays than buy a house, that I don't have kids, that I'm planning to buy the Kitty…
Cut yourself some slack. I'm sure you've accomplished much more than you give yourself credit for! As long as you're enjoying whatever you're doing (or not doing), you're already winning.
My parents brought home a Compaq in 1992 (it had 386 written on it, but I was too young to have any idea what it referred to). I still remember my mom installing it, and then my brother and I probably costing them a fortune in ink because we kept on printing out our MSPaint doodles, which frequently featured colorful…
I'm an Excel geek, and the arrow keys get a lot of use! There's nothing faster than keyboard shortcuts. You can take my mouse away, but you'll have to pry the full desktop keyboard from my cold dead hands.
Injuries are mostly just skin being pulled off fingers. Excuse me while I sit over here and just die.
We watched the game and it just sucked. I really feel for Atletico. To come so close. Also the rule at our house is that supporting Bayern, Real, Chelsea, whatever team Mourinho is coaching and whatever team C Ronaldo is playing for is not allowed. It's a matter of principle. They just rub me up the wrong way,…
Yes. Yes, you do have the best boss!
I have a husband like that. Not even cute-spider-picture therapy works. I think they're fascinating creatures!
My filter actually came with instructions saying to run it through the dishwasher on an extra-hot cycle occasionally. I have to say that it works great!
Yes! It was the best!
Wow, that's sad :( My mom was a SAHM and took care of most of the household with DIY and heavy gardening going to my dad, but as soon as he retired he got household chores. He can't cook to save his life, but he's responsible for loading and unloading the dishwasher and cleaning the bathrooms (which takes him as…
Cumberbabes?
I actually just blend chickpeas with garlic, lemon juice and olive oil (and cayenne for spice)! I usually alsp keep a few chickpeas whole on the side and them add them into the paste at the end. I like the "chunky" effect. Sadly, almond butter doesn't exist here, but I always have olive oil in the house anyway so…
I love growing stuff! We don't have our own garden now, but work an allotment plot. I'm not very green fingered, but I find it really calming. Also, baby fruit/veg the cutest. Congratulations on the pepper!
Yes! Even easier with the tinned chickpeas. Like 3 minutes max. And since my husband has a sesame allergy, I can make him tahini-free hummus.
Seconded. It's a great colour.
