I don’t know why, but seeing them animated like this just makes me... uncomfortable. I can’t put my finger on it.

I’m really excited for this, being my favorite installment in the entire series. FF9 was often overlooked in terms of both graphics and story in favor of FF7. But the stills look even crisper than I remember, which is definitely a good sign. The original had better graphics than some PS2 games, so I’m optimistic.

This just in—Local man expresses opinion on the internet, Internet finds him to be a pretentious asshole.

It’d require a lot more resources though, considering most “settlements” are at most 2-3 people before you personally build them up. Maybe if a modder were to add in settlement growth as a time-dependent (rather than player-dependent) option..

I suppose, but there’s nothing generally stopping you from being evil in the game. You can still murder and pillage. I don’t really see how they could meaningfully incorporate a raider option without it being just as annoying as the Minutemen quests. xD

I’m not certain what the point would be, unless you’re basically trying to be the next Great Khan. The raiders are disorganized and generally outgunned by even the Minutemen. They wouldn’t remotely have the force to deal with the Institute, and generally speaking they’re more of a parasite on the Wasteland.

God, yes. Scorpion has always been a little bloodthirsty. But really? I forgot about that. The spat between Sonya and Johnny seemed forced too. Other than that..I actually didn’t mind the torch passing so much? But there were also a lot of inconsistencies with the revenants and how they were maintained.

I don’t know, to me it seemed like a good character introduction. Han has never been a character who copes very well. He’s always been a character who by his own word can talk his way out of anything. He couldn’t save Ben (I don’t know if he yelled that or “REN!” at the end. I assume he’s named after Ben Kenobi) the

Maybe—I know on the Starkiller he was assigned sanitation, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he wasn’t combat ready (as far as they knew). Obviously, he’s a capable fighter whether or not this was his first mission. They don’t “train” Stormtrooper janitors, so it’s more likely he was a soldier who happened to draw the

In fairness, they are all programmed (literally) to be hardened soldiers in combat. It’s not entirely unfeasible for Phasma to plug a squad with a space janitor, because ideally he should be just as capable as any rank-and-file Stormtrooper out there. They aren’t encouraged to have individual identities or even

Battlefront has to be the biggest disappointment of the year to me. I understand that it’s basically meant to feel arcade-y, but it’s way too simplistic. There’s no appreciable feedback on weapons fire, and there’s almost no reason to ever abandon 1-2 weapons in the game. If they want any replay value in six months,

I, too, like to shit on random, innocent fan bases for doing nothing more than supporting something they love.

Seeing people get amazingly salty about FF7 and the like against Undertale..it fills you with determination.

I...don’t really understand the rabid defense of Independence Day. It..wasn’t THAT great of a movie to wait 20 years for.

I’ll have to look into that. I tried using a plasma weapon I picked off a mook for a little while, but I found I was actually getting less damage shot-for-shot than my laser rifle—not to mention some of the ballistic rifles I have with me. Maybe I just need to tinker with it more, but I wasn’t impressed. I was using a

To be honest, I would only do this to make some of the weapons in this game actually useful—like the Gamma Gun. Or the Plasma weapons. Plasma has been underwhelming so far, and Gamma Guns are laughable when used against me (I’m not specced against radiation at all, only in the mid-30s on level.)

I’d put my money on NRG (replacing Moon and Impact). Or maybe to the now-gutted Team 8/Immortals.

It’s common sense. Whether or not they can program the client to stop the timer is irrelevant—because it’s not a standard industry practice anywhere. Steam Refunds, as an example, doesn’t care if you played the game for sixty seconds—if the .exe is running, the clock is ticking. It’s not something new. Take any game

Psssst. A good point, being a jerk does not make. They opened the game, and left it paused. Ergo, it’s Kotaku’s bad on this one. The game doesn’t stop installing just because you closed the minigame that is PART of the program. This doesn’t even really strike me as controversial, more of a PSA.

The Salt is strong with this one. Just admit the better team won and stop whining, honestly. It makes you look like a child, attacking people because your team underperformed.
