My husband and all my siblings are celiac (it somehow skipped me). My husband especially is thrilled with the GF offerings in restaurants. The breads are getting tastier. The pastas are getting tastier. For their sake if this is a trend I hope it keeps up.

Yes. I loved the characters, but I think she was trying a little too hard for the "least likely suspect" twist. The ending was a bit disappointing but I'll still get this one.

Not even really an interracial issue, but - when my daughter started kindergarten they required demographic information. I checked "white - not Hispanic" and "Hispanic."

Yeah when I was in college, Mr. Bells was still in high school. So um. Yeah.

I demanded this one for Valentine's day a few years ago:

With some nice dance tights that doesn't seem so bad, but pantyhose are woven from Satan's own pubes.

I'm so confused by that one. Are there like, special uniform undies? Or are they supposed to wear the pantyhose with nothing underneath?

I think it's a stretch goal for one of the consoles. I don't know what a dev kit runs for this generation, but I'm assuming it's at least as much as the previous gen. They's pricey.

Okay, the panties are cute and all, but this raised $160k in 6 days, and my friend's brilliant biofeedback horror video game is stuck under $50k. So I will blatantly plug it. Neener. :P

I feel your pain, fellow Jennifer. Although I've come to like my name more as I get older, now that there's no longer the issue of being one of six Jennifers in a class (looking at you, 3rd grade!). I hated "Jenny", too, but now I like it. My dad called me "Niffer", but I don't think that's going to catch on.

My friend got one of these and posted about it on Facebook all day long as she was burning it. I thought it sounded cute so I checked it out. The website copy was so barf-inducingly stereotypical I was already turned off. Anyway, I only wear my wedding rings and one other ring ever, so I might be interested if

Can I also recommend Snap Circuits? They're kind of pricey (good deals sometimes at Fry's), but our sets have gone through two kids of both genders from ages 6-16. We just got the 13-year-old the programmable set (which unfortunately is a different voltage than the other sets and not mixable).

We thought Chaplin would be good at agility, he's really smart, learns fast, and is super bouncy, but he's scared of most of the equipment. But he is Champion of Snuggles.

oh my god I want to snuffle all his little spotses.

Thank you. I took your previous comment in the spirit it was intended. No offense taken. ;)

Yeah, my own father died 6 months ago. Haven't been able to go near that book since. I sobbed like a waterfall even before.

There are plenty of sports where this wouldn't matter in the least. Ski jumping is done individually - there's no one else on the course with you. And like the article says, a woman has already holds the longest jump on one course, so I don't see why they couldn't compete equally in this one.

I met Mr. Bells at church. Which is not weird, per se, but it was a Pagan Winter Solstice celebration at a Unitarian fellowship, so that a former Mormon-boy stuck around after that was pretty impressive.

I am right there with you sister.
