Don’t forget one of the neatest features of the phylogenetic tree in the fossil exhibit. In the third room, which moves toward comparatively more recent species, the branches of the tree end on a large glass panel with silhouettes of the various animal villagers—and an empty space for you to stand to represent humans!

Filling up the museum has always been my favorite part of the series, and it’s SO much more beautiful in this game than any past games.
