It still is, I think. I was even able to download it on my phone through Amazon Music so I could listen to it even when I don’t have cell reception, and I don’t think I ever got charged for it.

YES! It has been months for me and I even tried ignoring it for a couple of weeks, yet those songs still appear in my head. Sometimes a little riff, other times whole sequences but there is the soundtrack lurking like a stalker in my brain! I DO relate.

Warning warning...It will wiggle into your brain like no soundtrack ear worm I’ve ever encountered. And I’m a theater nerd, several decades in. The good news is you’ll share the affliction with the rest of us in this musical cult!

For a lot of shows, just listening to the soundtrack would not be that appealing because there’s scenes and plot that happen between the songs that the listener doesn’t hear. But because this show doesn’t have any scenes/plot that’s not part of the soundtrack, you can listen to the show and understand essentially

It’s like seeing into the future! The show just started on the West Coast.

Were you saying this when book of Mormon was trendy.

oh also, hamilton is trendy because it’s really fucking good and also probably the most relevant musical of our time, and also because it’s of new york, in new york.

To be fair, gun violence is entirely integral to Hamilton’s final chapter.

That sonnet?!? Oh my goodness, all the rain on my face.

Thoughtful, compassionate response from the Hamilton cast and the Tonys.

Aaaaaaand now I’m crying again. But on the bright side: Lin-Manuel Miranda. He is the bright side.

New stuff make thinky part of head hurt!

Maybe he has magic beans! And we’ll get a goose that lays golden eggs! We could solve our budget problems. This is great news, guys.

Don’t conservatives hate magic? Didn't they ban Harry Potter in schools?

It’s nice to have. Spur-of-the-moment invitations to formal events, fancy dinner night on cruises, James Bond role play...

Maybe you’re right, but then again, maybe you’re not. And that’s not a risk that women, the LGBT community, people of color, and non-Christians should be willing to take.

...and someday you can look back and know that you did your part to stop an orange cloud of fascism from taking over your country, even if it wasn’t you who stood the most to lose.

That’s why I posted it here. In times like these we need Alexander Camelton.

Does she think rapists spend all their non-rape time kicking puppies and twirling their mustaches while cackling?! I suppose it’s more comforting to believe that evil is always legible.
